C., Jan. 22, 1815; experienced religions in 1830; and entered the South Carolina Conference in 1834. In 1855 he was made supernumerary; in 1856 was appointed agent for Wofford College; and died Jan. 18, 1857. Mr. Walker was a man of stern integrity, sound judgment, and high moral courage.
