He studied some time at Jesus College, Cambridge, but is not recorded among its graduates; became vicar of Ronde, Wiltshire, in 1730; rector of St. Michael Queenhithe, London, in 1746; and, in addition, rector of Barnes, in Surrey,  in 1758. He died of gout about 1767. Among his published works are the following: System of Divinity and Morality (Lond. 1750):  Rational Defense of the English Reformation (1752):  An Illustration of the Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments (1754):  Ecclesiastical History of England from the Earliest Accounts to the Eighteenth Century (1756-57):  Memoirs of the Life of Sir Thomas More (1758): The History of Ireland (1763):  and History of the Rebellion and Civil War in Ireland from 1641 to 1660 (1767).<\/p>\n<h4 align='right'><i><b>Fuente: Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature<\/b><\/i><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Warner, Ferdinando, LL.D an English clergyman and voluminous writer, was born in 1703.
