(2) In <span class='bible'>Act 8:26<\/span>, AV, haute (the feminine of houtos, &#8220;this&#8221;), &#8220;the same&#8221; (RV), is translated &#8220;which.&#8221; (3) In the triple title of God in <span class='bible'>Rev 1:4<\/span>, <span class='bible'>Rev 1:8<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Rev 4:8<\/span>, &#8220;which&#8221; is the translation, firstly, of the article with the present participle of eimi, to be, lit., &#8220;the (One) being,&#8221; secondly, of the article with the imperfect tense of eimi (impossible of lit., translation, the title not being subject to grammatical change), thirdly, of the article with the present participle of erchomai, to come, lit., &#8220;the coming (One);&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Rev 11:17<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Rev 16:5<\/span> the wording of the AV and RV differs; in <span class='bible'>Rev 11:17<\/span> the AV follows the inferior mss. by adding &#8220;and art to come&#8221; (RV omits); in <span class='bible'>Rev 16:5<\/span>, the AV, &#8220;and shalt be,&#8221; represents kai (&#8220;and&#8221;) followed by the article and the future participle of eimi, &#8220;to be,&#8221; lit., &#8220;and the (One) about to be;&#8221; the RV substitutes the superior reading &#8220;Thou Holy One,&#8221; lit., &#8220;the holy (One):&#8221; see HOLY, B, No. 2.
