The word is similar in meaning to No. 4; holokleros draws attention to the person as a &#8220;whole,&#8221; holoteles, to the several parts which constitute him. <\/p>\n<p> Note: In <span class='bible'>1Ti 4:15<\/span>, the sentence freely rendered &#8220;give thyself wholly to them&#8221; is, lit., &#8220;be in these (things).&#8221; <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;to be in good health,&#8221; akin to A, No. 5, is rendered &#8220;they that are whole&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Luk 5:31<\/span>; &#8220;whole&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Luk 7:10<\/span> (present participle); &#8220;wholesome&#8221; in <span class='bible'>1Ti 6:3<\/span>, AV (RV, &#8220;sound;&#8221; marg., &#8220;healthful&#8221;). See HEALTH, SOUND. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;to save,&#8221; is sometimes rendered &#8220;to make whole,&#8221; and, in the Passive Voice, &#8220;to be made whole,&#8221; or &#8220;to be whole,&#8221; e.g., <span class='bible'>Mat 9:21-22<\/span> (twice), and parallel passages; <span class='bible'>Act 4:9<\/span>.
