Huntingdonshire, in 1609. He was educated at the University of Cambridge; received his first degree in divinity at Oxford in 1642; was appointed rector at Aynhoe, Northamptonshire, in 1646; ejected, at the Restoration; and died at Oundle in 1679. He was the author of, Tragedy of Christopher Love at Tower Hill (1660):  Iter Boreale (eod.):  Poem on the Imprisonment of Mr. Edmund Calamy in Neuwate (1662):  Poems (1668):  Rome Rhym&#8217;d to Death (1683), being a collection of choice poems, in two parts, written by the earl of R[ochester], Dr. Wild, etc.:  The Benefice; a Comedy (1689).
