doctor of theology and pastor of St. Catherine’s, at Hamburg, was born there December 17, 1796, and died May 13, 1874. For thirty years he occupied the pulpit of St. Catherine’s, in his native place, of which he .was one of its truest and most learned sons. His sermons were repeatedly printed. See Zuchold, Bibl.
