It is simply this: \u201cDemonstrate your faith in God in your everyday life!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>It is evident that God did not say to Noah: \u201cI am depending on you to hold the proper orthodox doctrines. Everything will be just fine if you stand up for the right doctrines!\u201d No, that is not what God demanded of Noah. Yet we have many religiously inclined people in our day who hold to an illusion that the learning of doctrine is enough. They actually think that somehow they are better for having learned the doctrines of religion.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>What actually did God ask Noah to do? Just this: to believe, to trust, to obey\u2014to carry out His word.\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>I have been impressed by a statement on Christian doctrine made by Martin Lloyd-Jones, the English preacher and writer, in a published article. The gist of his message was this: It is perilously close to being sinful for any person to learn doctrine for doctrine\u2019s sake. I agree with his conclusion that doctrine is always best when it is incarnated\u2014when it is seen fleshed out in the lives of godly men and women.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>Genesis 6:22; Psalm 119:1\u20132; Hebrews 11:7; James 1:22\u201325<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'><i>Jesus, Author of our Faith,<\/i> 30.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal align=center style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt; text-align:center;line-height:normal'><b>O<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bible gives us a straightforward message concerning Noah.
