If we are genuine, committed Christians, intent upon walking by faith with our Lord Jesus Christ, then we are continually confessing that we are pilgrims and that we are strangers!<\/p>\n
The Holy Spirit, who is the real author of this Letter to the Hebrews, uses the terms pilgrims<\/i> and strangers<\/i> to remind the early Christians that they were not yet at their final home.<\/p>\n
The message still reads the same today. Christian pilgrims are journeying by faith from an old city that is cursed and under threat of judgment to a blessed and celestial city where dwells Immanuel!<\/p>\n
