You know that I preached some time ago in Dr. A. B. Simpson\u2019s old tabernacle church at Times Square in New York City. The pastor was a learned brother with a delightful southern drawl.<\/p>\n
After I had preached several days, we were walking together in the midst of those hurrying throngs when he turned to me and said, \u201cBrother Tozer, I think I have figured you out.\u201d<\/p>\n
I asked him what he had discovered.<\/p>\n
\u201cI believe I have found your basic spiritual philosophy,\u201d he said. \u201cI think it boils down to this: \u2018Everything is wrong until Jesus sets it right!\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n
I replied, \u201cThank you, brother. That is it. I would say you have summed it up.\u201d<\/p>\n
I had not thought about it in that way but I think he had it right, and that is where I stand, ladies and gentlemen. Everything is wrong until Jesus sets it right.<\/p>\n
