The bread and wine in the Lord\u2019s Supper are considered sacraments in that they are visible manifestations of the covenant promise of our Lord: \u201cIn the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, \u2018This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.\u2019\u201d (Luke 22:20).<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:3.0pt;text-indent:18.0pt;line-height: normal'>God, in the O.T. used visible signs along with His spoken word.
