Eleven <\/p>\n
1. Jacob dreamed of \u201ca ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven….And, behold, the Lord stood above it\u201d (Gen. 28:12, 13).<\/p>\n
2. Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel…saw the God of Israel (Ex. 24:9, 10).<\/p>\n
3. Moses saw the back of God (Ex. 33:23).<\/p>\n
4. Micaiah \u201csaw the Lord sitting upon his throne\u201d (2 Chron. 18:18).<\/p>\n
5. Isaiah \u201csaw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple\u201d (Isa. 6:1).<\/p>\n
6. Ezekiel saw \u201cthe likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and…the likeness as the appearance of a man above it\u201d (Ezek. 1:26).<\/p>\n
7. Ezekiel again had a similar vision (Ezek. 10:1).<\/p>\n
8. Daniel \u201cbeheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit\u201d (Dan. 7:9).<\/p>\n
9. Stephen \u201clooked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God\u201d (Acts 7:55).<\/p>\n
10. Paul wrote that he \u201cknew a man\u201d (likely himself), who was \u201ccaught up to the third heaven\u201d (2 Cor. 12:2).<\/p>\n
11. John \u201cwas in the spirit; and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne\u201d (Rev. 4:2).<\/p>\n
