The believer in Christ shines only because of the reflection of Christ\u2019s light. Without that reflected light, the believer becomes lost in the darkness of the world and sin.153<\/p>\n
A young boy was doing his best to lift a rock that was too large for someone his size. He grunted and puffed as he tried various methods for lifting the rock. But, in spite of all his efforts, the rock wouldn\u2019t budge. His father walked by and, after watching his son\u2019s struggle, asked if he was having trouble. The boy answered, \u201cYes, I\u2019ve tried everything, and it won\u2019t move.\u201d The father replied, \u201cAre you sure you have tried every possibility, that you have used every resource at your disposal?\u201d The boy looked up with frustration and exhaustion filling his face and grunted out a \u201cYes!\u201d With kindness, the father bent over and softly said, \u201cNo, my son, you haven\u2019t. You haven\u2019t asked for my help.\u201d<\/p>\n
