Someone has aptly said, \u201cLiving without God\u2019s plan for our life is like sewing with a needle without thread, or writing one\u2019s biography with a pen empty of ink.\u201d779<\/p>\n
Some time ago, psychologist William Moulton Marston asked three thousand persons, \u201cWhat have you to live for?\u201d<\/p>\n
He was shocked to find that 94 percent were simply enduring the present while waiting for the future. They would describe this as waiting for \u201csomething\u201d to happen\u2014waiting for children to grow up and leave home, waiting for next year, waiting for another time to take a long-dreamed-about trip, waiting for tomorrow. They were all waiting without realizing that all anyone ever has is today because yesterday is gone and tomorrow never comes.780<\/p>\n
All have been given a bag of tools,<\/p>\n
A formless rock and a book of rules.<\/p>\n
And each must make ere life has flown,<\/p>\n
A stumbling block or a stepping stone.781<\/p>\n

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;<\/p>\n
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;<\/p>\n
Where there is doubt, faith;<\/p>\n
Where there is despair, hope;<\/p>\n
Where there is darkness, light; and<\/p>\n
Where there is sadness, joy.<\/p>\n
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much<\/p>\n
Seek to be consoled, as to console;<\/p>\n
To be understood as to understand;<\/p>\n
To be loved, as to love;<\/p>\n
