If God didn\u2019t want it said, Jesus didn\u2019t say it. If the Father wanted something done, Jesus did it.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Consider acting like Jesus toward your mate. Give your mate permission at any time to ask you:<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>\u201cDid the Father tell you to say that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>\u201cDid the Father tell to do that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>That question may be asked in the middle of a heated discussion or an angry outburst. That question may be asked whenever something is happening between the two of you that doesn\u2019t reflect God\u2019s purity, truth and character.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Consider this: Acting and speaking like the Father usually requires us to be patient, quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger and eager to surrender our rights instead of defending ourselves.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>So often we believe we have the right in a marriage to say whatever we think or feel. But marriage isn\u2019t a license to freely treat the other person as we like.
