Truthfully, there is nothing you can do to change your mate. The only person you can change is yourself.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Your prayers become God\u2019s instrument of change in your marriage. How? By changing you! Instead of praying, \u201cOh God, change my mate.\u201d Start praying, \u201cOh God, change me!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>So, how can you pray for your spouse? Try praying this way:<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Lord, open my mate\u2019s eyes to see you face to face. Open my mate\u2019s ears to hear you clearly. Open my mate\u2019s heart to receive all that you have to deposit in him. Empower my mate to become a willing, living sacrifice wholly dedicated to you. Amen.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Remember that God loves you too much to leave you the way you are. Prayer changes the one praying. Praying become the change agent in your marriage relationship.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Prayer is the language of spiritual intimacy between you and your partner. Share your deepest needs with each other and God through prayer.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Try this: Find an area in your relationship that both of you agree needs changing.
