Is your mate\u2019s emotional bank full, or is it overdrawn? We cannot make positive deposits into one another without spending time, one-on-one and face-to-face, with each other daily.<\/p>\n
How much time are you willing to spend positively with your spouse each day? That means that in your positive time you cannot argue or discuss problems or crises. In that time you find ways to make positive deposits into each other\u2019s emotional banks. Find out what your mate enjoys doing with you and begin doing that daily. Of course, physical intimacy may be part of that time. But reading, praying, walking, sharing, holding hands, exercising, singing, worshiping and many other things can fill that time.<\/p>\n
Try this: Choose a realistic amount of time you can spend together each day. Set that time and guard it intensely. No children. No phone. No TV. No distractions. Take time for just the two of you together \u2026 positively.<\/p>\n
