As the team prayed about the seminar, God spoke to our hearts. God revealed, \u201cCouples cannot receive all I have for them in their marriages as long as the past keeps them in bondage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>As we continued in prayer, the enemy\u2019s attack on marriage became very clear. The enemy was attacking through past open doors and curses involving:<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>Divorce\u2014Spouses who personally had been through divorce, or had family or close friends who divorced, have an open door from the past in being tempted to consider divorce when problems arise.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>Abuse\u2014Spouses that had been sexually, emotionally, spiritually or physically abused in the past have open doors for attack in that area of their marriages.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>Addiction\u2014Spouses or family members who were chemically, emotionally or physically addicted are open to attacks from this curse.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>Abandonment\u2014Spouses who have experienced abandonment, detachment, rejection or apathy from a parent or guardian, particularly a father, have that curse to contend with in marriage.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal'>Religion\u2014Spouses who have been in a false religion, paganism, the occult, new age, secret societies and legalism find that they are attacked in those areas in their present marriage.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Try this: If you or your mate have open doors from the past to the above curses, pray this prayer together: Almighty God, we agree together in the name of Jesus the Christ to renounce the works of the devil and to break the curse of_______from our past, through the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Remember that Satan\u2019s first and ongoing attack is against marriage (read Gen. 2:23\u20133:8).
