These statements seek to rob the destiny that God has for your child. Blanket statements that seek to place a false identity on them choke out the air of God\u2019s plan and can cause them to suffocate and be just what you\u2019ve called them to be.<\/p>\n
Look at your own past. Were you the model child growing up? Did you always make the right choices? Did you ever make any mistakes in what you did?<\/p>\n
Of course, you made mistakes; we all do. However, did your past keep you from God\u2019s love and concern? Did your past prevent God from doing a mighty work in you?<\/p>\n
Remember this: Your child is a person with a soul just like you. God is vitally interested in them just as He is vitally interested in you.<\/p>\n
Your child\u2019s past is not part of his future. That\u2019s what the enemy wants him to think, so don\u2019t you enter into agreement with him! Instead, show your child that God\u2019s plan is what\u2019s important for him to take hold of.<\/p>\n
God will never let a person\u2019s past dictate the future so long as they have placed their future in His hands. Teach your child to trust God\u2019s plan. It\u2019s far better than anything you or they could conceive.<\/p>\n
