Hear my prayer, O LORD, Give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness.<\/i><\/p>\n
\u2014Psalm 143:1<\/p>\n
If prayer depended on our faithfulness, then nothing would ever be accomplished by prayer. Often \u2026<\/p>\n
\u2022 We forget to pray.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We are too tired to pray.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We lack the conviction and commitment to follow through on what we have prayed.<\/p>\n
Pray works not because we are faithful but because He is faithful. In His faithfulness, our prayers get answered. Because of His righteousness, our prayers enter into the Holy of Holies.<\/p>\n
When you are unfaithful, the enemy will tempt you with these thoughts:<\/p>\n
\u2022 You have failed in prayer so God will abandon you.<\/p>\n
\u2022 You lack strength so you\u2019re too weak to arouse God\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n
\u2022 You vacillate too much; no sense in trying to focus or center on God.<\/p>\n
But our loving Father says to you:<\/p>\n
\u2022 I\u2019m always available even when you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n
\u2022 I\u2019m always strong even when you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n
\u2022 I\u2019m always focused on you even when you can\u2019t focus on me.<\/p>\n
So, what to do? Pray. Prayerlessness allows the enemy to rob you of the very thing God wants to give you. Only come to the Father and ask.<\/p>\n
Lord,<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
I thank you for your faithfulness. How I need You. Your strength. Your righteousness. Your availability. Thank You, Lord, for always being there for me. Amen.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
