THE LAW of sin and death is like the law of gravity, which states that what goes up must come down. It is a law that is universal to our world. No matter how high you try to move up and away, gravity is going to pull you down. If you jump up, gravity says, \u201cCome back here.\u201d It\u2019s going to pull you down every time.<\/p>\n
Isn\u2019t that what we do in our Christian life? We get all excited on Sunday and try to jump. We say we are going to live for God, and before Monday comes, gravity pulls us down. We make New Year\u2019s resolutions, trying to jump even higher. Gravity won\u2019t let us. We make promises to ourselves and gravity yanks us back. That\u2019s the law of sin and death. It always pulls us down no matter how high we try and jump.554<\/p>\n
