I got a little nervous because when I got to Memphis I still had to drive an hour away to Jackson, Tennessee. I wasn\u2019t dressed for the engagement. I had my clothes in a hanging bag to change into after the drive. I thought I\u2019d have time to go to the hotel room before I spoke. An hour later, we still hadn\u2019t boarded. An hour and a half later, we still hadn\u2019t boarded. We stayed on the runway for another thirty minutes before we took off.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>When we finally arrived in Memphis, a man was there to pick me up. I told him that I was worried that we wouldn\u2019t have enough time to get to the meeting. He told me not to worry. They would wait.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>I told him that I was concerned that I wouldn\u2019t have time enough to change into appropriate attire. He told me not worry. He told me that he\u2019d take me to his father\u2019s house and I could change there.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>After driving for an hour, he exited the highway and took me to his father\u2019s house to change. I was rushing to change because I hate being late. My escort told me to take my time. He told me that the people would wait. I was all sweating and frustrated and irritated trying to rush and get ready. Dressed and ready to head out, I looked at the clock. We were indeed late for the engagement. The man saw me look at my watch and reminded me yet again not to worry and that the folks would wait.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>A few moments later, I walked into this glorious grand ballroom filled with thousands of people. I came in and they stood up to applaud. Not only did they wait, but they celebrated my arrival.<\/p>\n<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent: 18.0pt;line-height:normal'>Some single folks have been waiting at the airport a long time. They\u2019ll wait. Some of you have been hanging on the runway a long time, but they\u2019ll wait. Yes I know, you\u2019re dressed in your old clothes and you don\u2019t look yet like you want to look and you don\u2019t yet have what you want to have or can\u2019t afford what you want to afford. They\u2019ll wait. Take your time. Those spouses you are praying for will wait.
