WHEREAS, On behalf of the citizens of the State of Rhode Island, I am pleased to join with The Concord Christian Connection in recognizing Christian Heritage Week, November 21\u201327, 1993; and<\/p>\n
WHEREAS, the Rhode Island legislature begins each daily session with a prayer to Almighty God; and<\/p>\n
WHEREAS, the Bill of Rights to the Constitution of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations guarantees religious freedom to all citizens; and<\/p>\n
WHEREAS, As Governor, I am pleased to recognize this Thanksgiving Week as Christian Heritage Week; and<\/p>\n
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Bruce Sundlun, Governor of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, do hereby proclaim,<\/p>\n
November 21\u201327, 1993<\/p>\n
\u201cCHRISTIAN HERITAGE WEEK\u201d<\/p>\n
