This is a needful work. Beware of the deceitfulness of the heart. This self-proving should be done-<\/p>\n
1. Instantly. The secret of our failure should be searched out at once.<\/p>\n
2. Willingly. Are you prepared to know yourself?- ready to have a sight of hidden sin?<\/p>\n
3. Carefully. Let no beloved sin deceive you. Judge each by their fruits. Don’t label things harmless that are unholy.<\/p>\n
4. Fearlessly. With the lamp of God’s searching Word (Heb_4:12).<\/p>\n
5. Mercilessly. Spare no Agag. Make confession. Acknowledge the sin (Psa_51:3).<\/p>\n
6. Honestly. Be severe on the sin, but approve what is good. Distinguish between sins and infirmities.<\/p>\n
7. Prayerfully. Remember, the Lord alone can search the heart. "Search me, O God; try my heart."<\/p>\n
