THREE GREAT WORDS.<\/p>\n
I. "Come." Approach (Mat_11:28). This is one of the sweetest words in our language. It is a word full of music. To those who come, He will give rest.<\/p>\n
II. "Become." Sonship (Joh_1:11-12). Those who come to Him and receive Him, become what they were not, the children of God.<\/p>\n
III. "Overcome." Victory (1 John 2 13). How much we value that word. What need there is of overcoming grace. Alas, too often we are overcome, instead of overcoming.<\/p>\n
But just as the last two words are the first, only with a different prefix, so we cannot "Become" and "Over come" unless we "Come."<\/p>\n
