The presence of Christ means power, whether we are conscious of it or not. When He gave His last commission to His disciples, saying, "All power is given unto Me… Go ye therefore… . Lo, I am with you alway." He was pledging His presence as the guarantee of every needful thing for the fulfilment of His will through them. His presence-<\/p>\n
1. Gives security to the perplexed (Gen_28:15).<\/p>\n
2. Gives encouragement to witness-bearing (Exo_3:12; Heb_13:5-6).<\/p>\n
3. Gives strength to the warrior (Jos_1:5).<\/p>\n
4. Gives comfort to the timid (Jer_1:8).<\/p>\n
5. Gives victory to the tempted (Gen_39:2-21).<\/p>\n
6. Gives confidence to the servant (Mat_28:20; Php_4:13).<\/p>\n
7. Gives rest to the pilgrim (Exo_33:14).<\/p>\n
