"Nyctalopia" is a peculiar disease causing such a defect of vision that objects can only be seen by night. The brighter the day the more blind do such become. Are there not many Christians who seem afflicted with a kind of spiritual nyctalopia? They like just a little light. The bright sunshine of a wholly consecrated life pains their weak and diseased eyes. They love the darkness rather than the light, because there is some hidden evil within.<\/p>\n
