Standing Perfect in the Will of God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Standing Perfect in the Will of God<\/p>\n<p>&quot;And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God&quot; (Rom_12:2).<\/p>\n<p>There are two ways in which we might speak of this word &quot;perfect.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>1. We want to stand in His perfect will. The Bible speaks of &quot;the good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God&quot;. What we want is God&#8217;s very best&#8211;His perfect will.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus prayed &quot;nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt&quot;. Are we willing to go anywhere, to be anything, to pay any price, to get God&#8217;s best in our life? So many are satisfied with His second choice. They want to be blessed, but they do not want the full blessing.<\/p>\n<p>2. We want to stand perfectly and not half-heartedly in His will. We do not want to stand complainingly in His will. We want to say &quot;Amen,&quot; that is, &quot;the will of God be done.&quot; We also want to say, &quot;Hallelujah,&quot; that is, &quot;I am glad that the will of God is done.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>In walking through life, when we put down one foot, let us always say &quot;Amen,&quot; and when we put down the other foot, let us say &quot;Hallelujah,&quot; and thus it will be &quot;Amen, Hallelujah,&quot; all the time.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;O Blessed life! the heart at rest,<\/p>\n<p>When all without tumultuous seems<\/p>\n<p>That trusts a higher will, and deems<\/p>\n<p>That higher will, not mine, the best.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;O blessed life! heart, mind, and soul,<\/p>\n<p>From self-born aims and wishes free;<\/p>\n<p>In all, at one with Deity,<\/p>\n<p>And loyal to the Lord&#8217;s control.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;O life! how blessed, how Divine!<\/p>\n<p>High life, the earnest of a higher!<\/p>\n<p>Saviour, fulfil my deep desire,<\/p>\n<p>And let this blessed life be mine.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Autor: R.E.
