The Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ–The Riches of His Glory<\/p>\n
"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich" (2Co_8:9).<\/p>\n
In order to comprehend the "grace of our Lord Jesus Christ", we must go back into the glory which He had with the Father, before the world was.<\/p>\n
The Lord Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Trinity, was indeed full of glory, from all eternity. "All things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist".<\/p>\n
The Lord Jesus Christ, was the "heir of all things". By Him God "made the worlds."<\/p>\n
The Lord Jesus Christ was the very forthshining glory, and the expression of the Father’s being.<\/p>\n
"Oh, could I speak the matchless worth,<\/p>\n
Oh, could I sound the glories forth<\/p>\n
Which in my Saviour shine,<\/p>\n
I’d soar, and touch the Heavenly strings,<\/p>\n
And vie with Gabriel, while he sings<\/p>\n
In notes almost Divine.<\/p>\n
I’d sing His glorious righteousness,<\/p>\n
In which all-perfect, Heavenly dress<\/p>\n
My soul shall ever shine.<\/p>\n
I’d sing the characters He bears,<\/p>\n
And all the forms of love He wears,<\/p>\n
Exalted on His throne:<\/p>\n
In loftiest songs of sweetest praise<\/p>\n
I would, to everlasting days,<\/p>\n
Make all His glories known."<\/p>\n
