An Angel Warns Joseph<\/p>\n
"The angel appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young Child and His mother, and flee into Egypt; and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him" (Mat_2:13).<\/p>\n
With what concern did the angels watch the cunning of satan as he sought to turn the heart of Herod against the infant Christ. They who had rejoiced at Christ’s birth, certainly felt for His safety. No marvel then, that an angel was quick to obey God, and to warn Joseph of the impending danger of the infant Child.<\/p>\n
That journey into Egypt was certainly accompanied by angelic hosts, who guarded the safety of Mary, Joseph and the Holy Babe.<\/p>\n
Again we are reminded of the fact that angels are ever watchful, they are ministering spirits sent forth to minister unto us who are heirs of salvation.<\/p>\n
