The Faith That has Works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Faith That has Works<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone&quot; (Jam_2:17).<\/p>\n<p>Faith is not a cold, formal expression of the head. It is a living vital pulsing of the life. Faith is active.<\/p>\n<p>Faith that does not work is not faith, it is dead.<\/p>\n<p>The man with the withered hand believed Christ and was healed; his faith is seen in the stretched forth hand.<\/p>\n<p>The lame man was healed by faith in Christ&apos;s name, and he was made strong. His faith is seen in his &quot;leaping and praising God.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The sick of the palsy was healed by faith. His faith was manifested by his taking up his bed and walking.<\/p>\n<p>The blind man, Bartimaeus, received his sight by faith. Christ said to him, &quot;Thy faith hath made thee whole.&quot; Bartimaeus showed his faith by casting away his garment and coming to Jesus; by telling forth his desire and by following Jesus in the way.<\/p>\n<p>The eunuch was saved, was baptized and afterward he went on his way rejoicing.<\/p>\n<p>The jailer was saved and arose and washed the stripes of both Paul and Silas, and was baptized.<\/p>\n<p>Saul of Tarsus was saved, baptized, and then immediately he preached in the synagogues that Jesus was the Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Faith in every realm is a faith that acts. Thus if you show me a man that has faith, I will show you a man who has works. If you say to me that such an one is justified by faith, I will say to you, I will see the fact of his justification in his works.<\/p>\n<p>Faith seeks to do nothing to become a Christian, but faith having obtained salvation, does everything that becomes a Christian.<\/p>\n<p>Faith sees the fields whitened unto the harvest and plunges in to the reaping.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The fields all are ripening, and far and wide<\/p>\n<p>The world now is waiting the harvest-tide:<\/p>\n<p>But reapers are few and work is great,<\/p>\n<p>And much will be lost should the harvest wait.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;So come with your sickles, ye Christian men,<\/p>\n<p>And gather together the golden grain;<\/p>\n<p>Toil on till the Lord of the harvest come,<\/p>\n<p>Then share ye His joy in the &quot;harvest-home.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Autor: R.E.
