1. Christ Our High Priest Will Present Our Cause<\/p>\n
"For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us" (Heb_9:24).<\/p>\n
How we should comfort our hearts, when we remember that Christ is standing before God in our behalf. Let the "accuser of the brethren," who accuses us before God, day and night, go on with his deadly work, he cannot harm us. "Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth" (Rom_8:33). So long as nothing can separate us from the love of Christ; so long as He pleads our cause and manages our affairs, we can "stand still and see the salvation of the Lord."<\/p>\n
