Fever–Sin's Restlessness (Mat_8:14-15). <\/p>\n
Demonism–Sin's Irresistibleness (Luk_8:35). <\/p>\n
Blindness–Sin's Darkness (Joh_9:1, Joh_9:7). <\/p>\n
Palsy–Sin's Helplessness (Mat_9:2). <\/p>\n
The Issue–Sin's Hopelessness (Mar_5:25-26). <\/p>\n
Death–Sin's Destructibleness (Joh_11:43-44). <\/p>\n
There is a close relationship existing between sin and sickness. We would not suggest that all sickness is due to immediate sin; for Christ plainly said of one born blind, "Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents" (Joh_9:3). However, ultimately, when there is no sin, there will be no sickness.<\/p>\n
Sin brings death, a death that is spiritual. Sickness brings death, a death that is physical.<\/p>\n
Sin brings sorrow and suffering; sickness brings sorrow and suffering.<\/p>\n
Sin can be blotted out, the sinner can be proclaimed righteous. Sickness can be healed–"The Lord shall raise him up" (Jam_5:15).<\/p>\n
We wish to discuss various diseases as they seem to suggest and to set forth the sway and the ravages of sin in its varied aspects.<\/p>\n
The analogy will not be complete because it will be impossible to consider each sickness spoken of in the Bible, and its analogy in the realm of sin.<\/p>\n
The following suggestive types or symbolisms will be used:<\/p>\n

Demonical possession–suggesting sin's irresistibleness. <\/p>\n
Blindness–suggesting sin's darkness. <\/p>\n
