Three Distinct Persons Are Seen in the Salutation of Revelation<\/p>\n
"Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come, and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne; and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness" (Rev_1:4-5).<\/p>\n
The salutation of Revelation positively differentiates between the Father, and the Son, and the Spirit.<\/p>\n
The Father is presented under the wonderful Jehovah title, the One Who "was, and is, and is to come."<\/p>\n
These words are true of the Son, and true of the Spirit, but they are here spoken of the Father.<\/p>\n
The Son is presented as the "faithful witness." To be sure, the Father and the Spirit are also faithful witnesses, but the special reference here is to the Son in His earth life, the One Who gave a true testimony from the Father.<\/p>\n
The Spirit is presented in His sevenfold perfection as being before the throne. Beyond doubt both Father and Son are perfect in like characteristics.<\/p>\n
What we have in the Book of Revelation is the vision of the eternal God, manifested in three persons, distinct and separate, and yet one God operating from the throne.<\/p>\n
