56. Believer\u2019s Outlook<\/p>\n
Briefly summarised, we may say there is a sevenfold outlook of blessing before the believer.<\/p>\n
1. We shall \u201cmeet\u201d Christ\u20141Th_4:17, and that means, as the word \u201cmeet\u201d suggests, we shall be caught up to meet Him in the air, and come back with Him to the earth.<\/p>\n
2. We shall \u201csee Him as He is\u201d (1Jn_3:2), not as He was in humiliation and death, but as He is in glory and incorruptibility.<\/p>\n
3. We shall be received by Him\u2014Joh_14:3, as He promised, \u201cI will receive you to Myself,\u201d which means He will take us to His heart.<\/p>\n
4. We shall stand before Him that our life and service may be tested, and our conduct towards our fellow-believers scrutinised\u2014Rom_14:10; 1Co_3:12-15; 1Co_9:5; 2Co_5:10.<\/p>\n
5. We shall be rewarded by Him, for when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ it is that each may have his praise from God\u20141Co_4:5.<\/p>\n
6. We shall be \u201clike\u201d Him in all the beauty of His manhood, and body of glory\u20141Jn_3:2; Php_3:20, Php_3:21.<\/p>\n
7. We shall be with Him, and have the joy of His companionship for ever\u20141Th_4:17.<\/p>\n
