63. Blunders<\/p>\n
The blunders of God\u2019s saints, as recorded in His Word, are meant to be beacons to tell us to keep off the rocks upon which they went.<\/p>\n
1. David\u2019s laziness, and his consequent fall\u20142Sa_11:1-4.<\/p>\n
2. Solomon\u2019s lustfulness, and the consequent backsliding\u20141Ki_11:1-6.<\/p>\n
3. Hezekiah\u2019s pride, and its resultant captivity\u2014Isa_39:1-8.<\/p>\n
4. Miriam\u2019s jealousy, and the leprosy which came to her as punishment\u2014Num_12:1-10.<\/p>\n
5. Lot\u2019s selfishness, and his humiliating rebuke from the Sodomites\u2014Gen_13:11; Gen_19:9.<\/p>\n
6. Peter\u2019s self-confidence, and his consequent downward course\u2014Luk_22:33.<\/p>\n
7. The self-exultation of the Church at Corinth, and the resultant chastisement\u20141Co_11:30, are all recorded that we may avoid their mistakes and escape their punishments.<\/p>\n
