64. Blessings of the Upright<\/p>\n
One said of a devoted Christian man in his business, \u201cHe commands my custom, for all his goods are Christian;\u201d and of another, \u201cHe sells a Christian shovel.\u201d When we are \u201cupright in heart and life and business, we need no recommendation.\u201d<\/p>\n
The upright man, and not the leaner, is ever the blessed one. If the Book of Proverbs is carefully studied, it will be found there are many blessings which come to the upright.<\/p>\n
1. The upright \u201cdwell in the land\u201d of promised blessing\u2014Pro_2:21.<\/p>\n
2. The upright have Jehovah as their strength\u2014Pro_10:29.<\/p>\n
3. The integrity and righteousness of the upright bring guidance and deliverance\u2014Pro_11:3, Pro_11:6, Pro_11:11.<\/p>\n
4. The upright are a joy to the Lord, and He delights to answer their prayer\u2014Pro_11:20; Pro_15:8.<\/p>\n
5. The upright find that the Lord keeps them, causes them to flourish, and obtain definite direction\u2014Pro_13:6; Pro_14:11; Pro_21:29.<\/p>\n
6. They find \u201cgood things in possession\u201d (Pro_28:10). \u201cNo good will Jehovah withhold from them who walk uprightly\u201d (Psa_84:11).<\/p>\n
