\u201cWho Gave Himself a Ransom for All\u201d 1Ti_2:6<\/p>\n
The word antilutron, in the above passage of Scripture, means a procuring price paid instead of others.<\/p>\n
Frequently we are reminded Christ gave Himself to meet our liabilities. His ransom was a\u2014<\/p>\n
1. Sin-answering Ransom. \u201cGave Himself for our sins\u201d (Gal_1:4).<\/p>\n
2. God-man Ransom. \u201cWho gave Himself a Ransom for all\u201d (1Ti_2:6).<\/p>\n
3. Sinner-answering Ransom. \u201cGave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity\u201d (Tit_2:14).<\/p>\n
4. Love-provided Ransom. \u201cHe gave His only begotten Son\u201d (Joh_3:16).<\/p>\n
5. Life-substituted Ransom. \u201cGive His life a ransom for many\u201d (Mat_20:28).<\/p>\n
6. Grace-given Ransom. \u201cBread that I will give is My flesh\u201d (Joh_6:51).<\/p>\n
7. Grateful-remembered Ransom. \u201cThis is My Body given for you: this do in remembrance of Me\u201d (Luk_22:19).<\/p>\n
