141. Christ\u2019s Compassion<\/p>\n
Luk_7:13<\/p>\n
Compassion reveals the tenderness of the heart of Christ and the power human grief has over Him. \u201cCompassion\u201d means to be intensely moved. The word is often rendered \u201cmoved with compassion.\u201d There are seven instances where we find He was \u201cmoved with compassion\u201d\u2014<\/p>\n
1. When He saw the scattered multitude\u2014Mat_9:36.<\/p>\n
2. When He saw the multitude of sick\u2014Mat_14:14.<\/p>\n
3. When He beheld the hungry crowd\u2014Mat_15:32.<\/p>\n
4. When He met the blind men\u2014Mat_20:34.<\/p>\n
5. When He was appealed to by the leper\u2014Mar_1:41.<\/p>\n
6. When He pictured His life\u2019s ministry in the act of the Good Samaritan and in the parable of the Prodigal Son\u2014Luk_10:33; Luk_15:20.<\/p>\n
7. When He saw the widow\u2019s grief.\u2014Luk_7:13. He is still the same.<\/p>\n
