One of the names of Christ is: \u201cWonderful\u2014Counsellor\u2014The Mighty God\u2014The Everlasting Father\u2014The Prince of Peace.\u201d \u201cHis Name,\u201d not His names, is thus expressed. Christ exemplified every one of the five sections of \u201cHis Name\u201d in His life. 1. He was the \u201cWonderful\u201d in the perfection of His holy life\u2014Heb_7:26.<\/p>\n
2. He was the \u201cCounsellor\u201d in the life-giving and light-imparting words of His love\u2014Joh_6:63.<\/p>\n
3. He was \u201cThe Mighty God\u201d in the wonder-working of His miracles\u2014Act_10:38.<\/p>\n
4. He was \u201cThe Everlasting Father\u201d in the Revelation He made and was of the Father\u2014Joh_14:7.<\/p>\n
5. He was \u201cThe Prince of Peace\u201d in the peace He made by the Blood of His Cross, in what He is; and He will be the Prince of Peace when He comes to set up His Kingdom, for then, and not till then, \u201cOf the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end\u201d (Isa_9:7).<\/p>\n
