166. Christ\u2019s Kingdom<\/p>\n
What will be the character of His Kingdom? We need to ponder the whole country of the Old Testament prophecies to answer the question. But if we confine ourselves to the prophecies in Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 we shall find a simple and unmistakable answer.<\/p>\n
1. Received Kingdom. \u201cThere was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom\u201d (Dan_7:14).<\/p>\n
2. Powerful Kingdom. \u201cA stone… smote the image. and brake it in pieces\u201d (Dan_2:34).<\/p>\n
3. Victorious Kingdom. \u201cTake away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end\u201d (Dan_7:26; Dan_8:25).<\/p>\n
4. Recognised Kingdom. \u201cShall serve and obey Him\u201d (Dan_7:27).<\/p>\n
5. Universal Kingdom. \u201cFilled the whole earth\u201d (Dan_2:35). \u201cAll people, nations, and languages shall serve Him\u201d (Dan_7:14).<\/p>\n
6. Lasting Kingdom. \u201cHis dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away\u201d (Dan_7:14). \u201cAn everlasting Kingdom\u201d (Dan_7:27).<\/p>\n
7. Set Kingdom. Set as to time as well as to being. \u201cIn the days of these kings\u201d (Dan_2:44).<\/p>\n
