171. Christ\u2019s Message On Being Saved<\/p>\n
The pages of the New Testament ring with the word \u201csaved.\u201d<\/p>\n
1. Christ\u2019s message was, \u201cThat ye might be saved\u201d (Joh_5:34).<\/p>\n
2. He said those who entered into the shepherd fold of His grace should \u201cbe saved\u201d (Joh_10:9).<\/p>\n
3. His commission to His disciples was that those who believed should \u201cbe saved\u201d (Mar_16:16).<\/p>\n
4. He assured a woman who came in penitence to Him, \u201cThy faith hath saved thee\u201d (Luk_7:50).<\/p>\n
5. He declared that Satan\u2019s machinations were to keep men from receiving His Word, lest they should \u201cbelieve and be saved\u201d (Luk_8:12).<\/p>\n
6. He revealed that God sent Him into the world that it might \u201cbe saved\u201d (Joh_3:17).<\/p>\n
