No one can read through the Book of the Acts without being convinced that Christ\u2019s resurrection is the predominating theme of its witness.<\/p>\n
1. Luke opens his treatise by affirming it\u2014Act_1:3.<\/p>\n
2. Matthias is added to the apostleship that he may bear witness to it\u2014Act_1:23.<\/p>\n
3. Peter, on the Day of Pentecost, unfolds certain Old Testament Scriptures as embodying the fact\u2014Act_2:31-32; and affirms the same fact in connection with the healing of the lame man\u2014Act_3:15.<\/p>\n
4. The first persecution was caused by the declaration of Christ\u2019s resurrection\u2014Act_4:2, Act_4:10, Act_4:33.<\/p>\n
5. Peter preached the resurrection of Christ again and again\u2014Act_5:29-32; Act_10:39-41.<\/p>\n
6. Paul is constant in his testimony to the resurrection of Christ\u2014Act_13:30-38; Act_17:31; Act_23:6-10; Act_24:15, Act_24:21; Act_26:23.<\/p>\n
