\u201cWalketh about, seeking whom he may devour\u201d (1Pe_5:8), is the description of the occupation of the adversary. There are others, like him, up to mischievous practices, who are, therefore, allied with him.<\/p>\n
1. A Meddlesome Talebearer. \u201cHe that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets\u201d (Pro_20:19).<\/p>\n
2. A Spark Maker. \u201cCompass yourselves about with sparks,\u201d etc. (Isa_1:11).<\/p>\n
3. A Gadding People. \u201cWhy gaddest thou about so much to change thy way?\u201d (Jer_2:36).<\/p>\n
4. A Backsliding Daughter. \u201cHow long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter?\u201d (Jer_31:22).<\/p>\n
5. A Beset Company. \u201cTheir own doings have beset them about\u201d (Hos_7:2).<\/p>\n
6. A Self-righteous Nation. \u201cGoing about to establish their own righteousness\u201d (Rom_10:3).<\/p>\n
