Selection 2<\/p>\n
1. \u201cLabour\u201d (Heb_4:11). Labour means to be diligent (R.V.). Leanness comes from laziness\u2014see Jos_18:3.<\/p>\n
2. \u201cCome Boldly (Heb_4:16). \u201cGrace\u201d and \u201cmercy\u201d come to those who come to the throne of grace.<\/p>\n
3. \u201cGo on\u201d (Heb_6:1). To stop when the command is to \u201cgo on\u201d is to miss God\u2019s end and intended goal.<\/p>\n
4. \u201cBe not slothful\u201d (Heb_6:11-12). Slothfulness is born of a weak faith, a dull heart, an unwatchful spirit, a morbid soul, a loose life, a neglected Bible, and a prayerless closet.<\/p>\n
5. \u201cDraw near\u201d (Heb_10:22). The conditions to \u201cdraw near\u201d are a \u201ctrue heart,\u201d a full assurance, a clear conscience, and a pure life.<\/p>\n
6. \u201cHold fast without wavering\u201d (Heb_10:23). The Revised Version bids us \u201chold fast the confession of our hope.\u201d He will not waver in His promise, so we should not waver in our confession.<\/p>\n
7. \u201cProvoke\u201d (Heb_10:24). To \u201cprovoke\u201d to \u201clove,\u201d and labour is to enjoy His favour.<\/p>\n
