373. Gates<\/p>\n
\u201cGo Through, Go Through the Gates\u201d (Isa_62:10)<\/p>\n
Gates are the means of entrance, and as we enter we find what is inside, to our benefit and enjoyment.<\/p>\n
1. Gate of the Tabernacle\u2014Exo_27:16. Type of Christ as the entrance into blessing\u2014Joh_10:9, Joh_10:10.<\/p>\n
2. \u201cGate of Heaven\u201d (Gen_28:17). Type of the experience of those who find Christ in their life\u2019s journey.<\/p>\n
3. \u201cGate of the Guard to the King\u2019s House\u201d (2Ki_11:19). When we are guarded by the King\u2019s guard of holiness and peace, we find it leads us to the place of the King\u2019s house.<\/p>\n
4. \u201cGates of Righteousness\u201d (Psa_118:19-20). Nothing that is wrong can enter this gate. Being right and doing right, we square with the right.<\/p>\n
5. Gates of Beauty\u2014Isa_54:12. \u201cI will make thy gates of carbuncles.\u201d When the Lord adorns us with His beauty, others are attracted by His grace.<\/p>\n
6. \u201cGates of Praise\u201d (Isa_60:18). Praise is the grace of gratitude opening its heart and life with thanksgiving and adoration to the Giver of all good.<\/p>\n
7. \u201cGate of Jehovah\u201d (Jer_7:2). To recognise Jehovah as the unchanging One, and the One who will cause things to be, is to find ourselves in the realm of His love.<\/p>\n
