\u201cHoly in all manner of life\u201d (1Pe_1:15, R.V.).<\/p>\n
Murray M\u2019Cheyne prayed, \u201cLord, make me as holy as it is possible for a child of Thine to be.\u201d Such a prayer becomes all who pray. We do well to pray that we may be\u2014<\/p>\n
1. Holy in body, as expressed in Rom_12:1, where we are urged to yield our bodies \u201choly, acceptable unto God.\u201d<\/p>\n
2. Holy in prayer, as directed in 1Ti_2:8, where we are exhorted to \u201clift up holy hands.\u201d<\/p>\n
3. Holy in worship, as denoted in 1Pe_2:5, where believers are called a \u201choly priesthood.\u201d<\/p>\n
4. Holy in citizenship, as described in 1Pe_2:9, where we are named a \u201choly nation.\u201d<\/p>\n
5. Holy in thought, as suggested by the high priest having on his mitre the words \u201choliness unto the Lord\u201d (Exo_28:36).<\/p>\n
6. Holy in business, as represented by \u201choliness unto the Lord\u201d being on the \u201cbells\u201d and \u201cpots,\u201d as stated in Zec_14:20, Zec_14:21.<\/p>\n
7. Holy in heart as urged in 1Th_3:13, \u201chearts unblameable in holiness before God.\u201d<\/p>\n
