480. Jehovah\u2019s \u201cI Will\u2019s\u201d in Isaiah 49<\/p>\n
1. Glorified. \u201cI will be glorified\u201d (Isa_49:3). God\u2019s glory is always the goal of our good.<\/p>\n
2. Identified. \u201cI will also give thee for a light\u201d (Isa_49:6). God\u2019s in-fillings make us one with Him and for Him, for His in-fillings are for out-flowings.<\/p>\n
3. Preserved. \u201cI will preserve thee\u201d (Isa_49:8). God\u2019s preservation is the cause of our perseverance.<\/p>\n
4. Blessing. \u201cI will make all My mountains a way\u201d (Isa_49:11). One such mountain is Mount Calvary. It is a way to all blessing.<\/p>\n
5. Power\u2014Isa_49:22. \u201cI will lift up Mine hand,\u201d etc. The hand of God is a symbol of His power. His liftings up are always leaders to lasting peace.<\/p>\n
6. Victory\u2014Isa_49:25. \u201cI will contend with him,\u201d etc. Those who stand in the way of the believer\u2019s progress are targets for God\u2019s prowess.<\/p>\n
7. Promise\u2014Isa_49:25. \u201cI will save thy children.\u201d The Lord\u2019s promise extends to the household of the child of God. Being His children, He promises to bless our children.<\/p>\n
8. Judgment\u2014Isa_49:26. \u201cI will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh.\u201d The sinner reaps in kind what he is.<\/p>\n
