One of the characters in which our Lord is described is the Lifter.<\/p>\n
1. A Gracious Act. \u201cThou hast lifted me up\u201d (Psa_102:10).<\/p>\n
2. A Sovereign Lord. \u201cHe bringeth low, He also lifteth up\u201d (1Sa_2:7).<\/p>\n
3. A Victorious Lord. \u201cThou hast lifted me up on high above mine enemies\u201d (2Sa_22:49).<\/p>\n
4. A Living Emancipator. \u201cThou that liftest me up from the gates of death\u201d (Psa_9:13).<\/p>\n
5. A Great Physician. \u201cHe took her by the hand and lifted her up\u201d (Mar_1:31).<\/p>\n
6. An Exalting Friend. \u201cThe Lifter up (to make high) of mine head\u201d (Psa_3:3).<\/p>\n
