591. Obtaining People<\/p>\n
The words \u201ctaken,\u201d \u201cperceived,\u201d \u201cattained,\u201d \u201cobtain,\u201d \u201ccomprehend,\u201d \u201capprehend,\u201d and \u201covertake\u201d in the following Scriptures are one and the same in the Greek.<\/p>\n
1. An Obtained Sinner. \u201cTaken in adultery\u201d (Joh_8:3).<\/p>\n
2. An Obtained Knowledge. \u201cPerceived they were unlearned\u201d (Act_4:13).<\/p>\n
3. An Obtained Righteousness. \u201cHave attained to righteousness\u201d (Rom_9:30).<\/p>\n
4. An Obtained Prize. \u201cSo run, that ye may obtain\u201d (1Co_9:24).<\/p>\n
5. An Obtained Christ. \u201cMay be able to comprehend with all saints,\u201d etc. (Eph_3:18). Not Christ\u2019s love, but Himself.<\/p>\n
6. An Obtained Purpose. \u201cThat I may apprehend that for which I am apprehended\u201d (Php_3:12).<\/p>\n
7. An Obtained Surprise. \u201cShould overtake you as a thief\u201d (1Th_5:4).<\/p>\n
