696. Revival<\/p>\n
1. Rule of Revival. \u201cRevive Thou me according to Thy Word\u201d (Psa_119:25, Psa_119:107, Psa_119:149, Psa_119:154, Psa_119:156). Any revival not based on God\u2019s Word will be like a sky-rocket, which goes up with a flash, and comes down a stick!<\/p>\n
2. Sphere of Revival. \u201cRevive me in Thy way\u201d (Psa_119:37). The way of revival is always the way of holiness of life, lowliness of spirit, and humbleness of mind.<\/p>\n
3. Principle of Revival. \u201cRevive me according to Thy righteousness\u201d (Psa_119:40). Righteousness is the principle of doing right because it is the right thing to do.<\/p>\n
4. Attraction of Revival. \u201cRevive me after Thy lovingkindness\u201d (Psa_119:88, Psa_119:159). Love dominates in all true revival, and is ever active in kindness.<\/p>\n
5. Source of Revival. \u201cWilt not Thou revive us again?\u201d (Psa_85:6). If the Lord revives, He will do it well, and we shall want Him to do it all the time.<\/p>\n
6. Subjects of Revival. \u201cRevive us… Revive me.\u201d \u201cRevive Thy work\u201d (Hos_6:2; Psa_138:7; Hab_3:2). \u201cTo revive the humble\u201d (Isa_57:15). When a revival begins in the first person, there are sure to be others joining in it.<\/p>\n
7. Secret of Revival. Prayer. \u201cWilt not Thou revive us\u201d (Psa_85:6). Prayer is the wire which keeps us in touch with the power house.<\/p>\n
8. Outcome of Revival. \u201cThat Thy people may rejoice\u201d (Psa_85:6). \u201cRevive as the corn,\u201d etc. (Hos_14:7).<\/p>\n
